How to install a Water Softener?
A water softener reduces the water’s hard minerals, making the water soft, which saves the pipes and fixtures from scaling or staining. The water softener price is quite affordable, and this useful technology is easy to install by following the below steps:
1. Shut off gas or electricity of the water heater and turn off water supply to the main lines.
2. Turn on all the faucets for draining the water from the pipes.
3. Locate the place along the mainline to install the water softener Plant.
4. Using a pipe cutter, cut into the mainline and drain any remaining water into a bucket.
5. In the line, install an elbow fitting that will allow you to feed the filter and, if required, feed water around the filter through a bypass valve.
6. Taking the measurement from the unit, measure the pipes that will lead to the bypass valve.
7. Using compression fittings, connect the pipes to the unit.
8. Attach the hose to the machine and then feed it to the drain.
9. Refer the provided instructions manual and attach the brine tank to the overflow tube.
10. To remove any sediment or debris, turn the valve to the bypass position and flush water through it.
11. Connect the control valve and fill the brine tank with around 15 liters of water.
12. Set the backwash mode on your air conditioner and the bypass valve to the service spot.
13. When a steady stream of water emerges at the drain, turn the water supply valve fully on.
14. Check for leaks in the system. To fix any leaks, tighten the nuts.
